Time really does fly in this award-winning piece we did for Microsoft Research. The fluid design and our proprietary 3D engine combine forces to create an interactive timeline of MS Research's many years of innovation and milestones. The best part? MyComix Comic Creator
Plexipixel designed and developed an award-winning comic creator to allow terminally-ill children to create their own comic books while in the hospital. Using unique characters, items and environments, the MYCOMIX comic creator helps children cope with their emotions and feelings in a creative and appealing fashion. <a href="asfunction:Application.gotoPage,studio/Awards">Award Winner.</a>
Show Us Your Wow
Microsoft needed a dynamic site and centerpiece for their interactive "Show Us Your Wow" competition. Working in conjunction with MSN, we brought the wow using Flash technology to create a working model of Windows Flip 3D, one of the most exciting features of Microsoft's Vista operating system.
Infiniti - Open for Design
Infiniti turned to Plexipixel to create a stylish and appealing interface for the premiere issue of open for design. We rose to the challenge by using the latest Flash 3D and reflection technologies, and created an expressive interface that got noticed.
Kraft Chef To The Rescue
MSN and Plexipixel teamed up with Hollywood to produce original Web entertainment programming, with Chef to the Rescue as the first of ten properties. The site showcases Flash's ability to combine video with other interactive features.
Sprite Obey
We helped Sprite take their interactive ideas in a new direction with Obey—a mobile scavenger hunt. Putting MSN's design in action, we helped create a unique pseudo-3D experience that keeps people coming back for more.
MSN Dog Central
Developed in conjunction with MSN, Plexipixel created the Pedigree Dog Central: Doggie Galleria. Users can vote for a favorite dog or submit a photo of their own special pup using an appealing and fun Flash driven user interface.
Sprite Exposure
Got talent? How do you let the world know? Developed in conjunction with MSN, Plexipixel worked with Sprite to create EXPOSURE, a look into the lives of up-and-coming artists and athletes. We utilized the latest Flash video techniques to incorporate footage that lets the talent speak for itself.
Microsoft Licensing Tool
We worked with Microsoft to take the guesswork out of volume licensing, and developed this Flash-based licensing tool to help users easily decide which program works best for them.
Harry Potter
When it came time to advertise one of its hottest properties, Warner Bros. turned to Plexipixel to create this interactive floating video banner for the release of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire.
Corpse Bride
Small file sizes don't always play well with the look and feel of stop-motion animation. Plexipixel was able to combine the best of both worlds to create a traditional-looking, highly animated banner for the release of Tim Burton's Corpse Bride.

Built upon an existing game concept that the studio discovered online, our teams designed and developed RoshamBOOM! for Facebook.
A hilarious and complex game based on Rock Paper Scissors, RoshamBOOM! uses the latest released version of Silverlight to bring a 101-hand gesture battle game to life.
Social MSN Games
MSN Games turned to Plexipixel to help them gain a foothold in the world of Social. We brought Hexic to Facebook and MySpace, and we also turned their IM version of Chess into an asynchronous game for both sites. We designed the social user experience around the games, incorporated their Badge reward system, and we handle the hosting all using our <a href="http://www.plexipixel.com/portfolio/?id=dormouse" target="_blank">Dormouse</a> platform.
Zune Games
We were flattered when the Zune team enlisted our help in bringing Hexic and Sudoku, two wildly popular casual games, to their music player. We designed an original look and feel for Sudoku, bringing the feel of Japan into the game board and menus. We were also responsible for design production, user experience consultation, and interface planning.
Twilight Pixie Glide
To celebrate the holidays, we turned our annual holiday card into our latest casual game "Twilight Pixie Glide". Help the Plexipixies light the northern woods and collect cookies and candies. Play against your friends’ high scores online or with the Facebook version for some festive social gaming.
Sushi-Me
Both our design and dev teams pushed the creative envelope with Sushi-Me, our new casual game. Whimsical character design and smooth gameplay make Sushi-Me addictive fun on both Nintendo Wii and PC platforms.
Mr. Robinson's Driving School
We put users in the driver's seat of the new Volvo c30 for the MSN/Reveille-produced Web series Mr. Robinson's Driving School. Our team of crack engineers integrated Flash animations, complex sound and video mergers in an embedded environment to create seamless fun. <a href="asfunction:Application.gotoPage,studio/Awards">Award Winner.</a>
Adidas Penalty Shootout
To promote their Predator FC vs. F50 contest, Plexipixel worked with Adidas to create an instant messenger game that captures the excitement felt during a penalty kick. By combining player video with 3D technology, we created a dynamic multi-player experience that was a hit from day one.
Rockstar
To promote both Rockstar: Supernova and Honda Automotive, Plexi created this unique voting game to capitalize on the excitement generated by the hit television show.
Ford Ironman Challenge
As the title sponsor in the Ford Ironman triathalon, Ford needed help creating virtual biking, running, and swimming challenges for the Ironman fans to test their skills. Schick
To promote their new Quattro razor, we worked with Schick to develop an instant messenger game that challenged one friend to guess the answers of another. We created a fun and social activity that helped the product's name get noticed.

Microsoft Press hired Plexipixel to create seven interactive quizzes for their Faster Smarter book series, highlighting the functionality of Windows XP. Take the test... Are you Faster and Smarter?

Using Microsoft's Silverlight technology, Plexipixel created an engaging and informative narrative to illustrate Microsoft's vision for Connected Experiences for the consumer goods industry. The demo takes a seemingly complex concept and communicates it in a way that is easy to understand and visually interesting.
Project Tuva Video
Microsoft Research asked Plexipixel to create a video to showcase the Microsoft Enhanced Video Player named Project Tuva. The Silverlight application, built by Stimulant, showcases rare Feynman video footage tied together with extras including commentary, WWT features and search capabilities. Our designers focused on the core features of the application to create a video that will be able to live on with the product as it grows.
Jobster
Plexipixel created an intuitive and appealing demo for Jobster to showcase their newly integrated search and sort database technology.
Microsoft Office Demos
Plexipixel was responsible for standardizing and optimizing the look and feel of the Microsoft Office 2007 product line demonstrations. With over twenty different demos showcasing multiple applications and cross-connectivity, our work delivered a consistent and streamlined user experience.
Exchange and Outlook
Microsoft hired Plexipixel to create a comprehensive demo that would showcase the integration and benefits of Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 and Microsoft Outlook 2007.
Shared Computer Toolkit
Microsoft needed to demonstrate the security functions and tools of their Windows XP Shared Computer Toolkit. Plexipixel and APAK! used a playful animation style and presentation to help bring a fun and fresh look to a serious topic.
Neah Power Systems
Lux Media needed 2D animation and design work for their client Neah Power. Neah needed to show their groundbreaking power cell technology to not-so-technical investors and media. Plexipixel was just the right company to help bridge the gap.
Bellevue Community College
IOAxis needed to communicate the added value of their internet hosting services to the students of BCC's Media Communication & Technology program. Plexipixel created the message and the visuals. The return on investment for IOAxis was immediate.

Plexipixel joined forces with the Seattle Sounders to create a groovy, anime-styled animation to be used for their fan club events. To showcase their sponshorship of the Sounders, Esurance provided us with their popular pink-haired mascot. Plexi designed the rest.

Plexipixel put graphics and guitars to work in a demo announcing a partnership between Rhapsody and Philips. Shown at CES 2008 and presented in the Philips CEO's keynote address, the demo pairs Flash and After Effects with Lenny Kravitz. The result was a funky experience that mirrored the buzz of the partnership.

When Rhapsody and TiVo joined forces, Plexipixel helped announce the news by creating a broadcast quality demo for the 2007 CES Expo. When the news is all about the music, what better place to hear about it than the dance floor? Besides, everyone likes a party.

GiftCertificates.com needed to showcase their SuperCertificates for the Super Summer Wild Travel trivia game on "Live With Regis and Kelly." We created origami airplanes, palm trees, and cruise ships to show just how versatile a SuperCertificate can be.

We worked with IOActive, a comprehensive computer security company, on their website redesign and branding update. A drastically divergent target audience had to be accommodated in our planning and design process. We came up with a site that looks polished and is still easy to update.
Microsoft CAL Suites
The CAL Suites team asked us to tap into our experience with designing and building sites using the Microsoft.com infrastructure. With our Microsoft SharePoint and InfoPath expertise, we were able to deliver an on-brand, easy-to-localize and update site that exceeded our client's expectations. Oh yeah, and our illustration chops were put to good use.
Microsoft Windows Azure
We pulled out all the stops for Microsoft's high-profile entry into the realm of cloud-computing. Working directly with the Azure Windows team, we helped develop a web strategy and redesign for their branding and website. In addition to providing recommendations on SEO, UX and content structure, we also built a Windows Azure mini-CMS that allows for syndication to and from the site that can be updated from anywhere.
Microsoft Open Protocols
Plexipixel worked with Microsoft's Interoperability, Protocols and Standards teams at to redesign the Open Protocols website while creating a navigation element that would work across a future redesign of all three sites. To save on overall content maintenance costs, we implemented several syndication strategies to pull in latest news and blog posts. We also helped the client in strategizing their ongoing SEO approach.
Chinen & Arinaga
Chinen & Arinaga needed to revamp their website to reflect their business philosophy—professional, yet friendly and approachable. We explored the company's local culture and traditions to create a design that honors the power of family. Even with regulatory requirements for this financial institution, we made sure that the site contents are SEO friendly. Portions of the site are also easily updatable by their non-technical staff.
School of the Future
To showcase the documentary 4021 Parkside Ave, we partnered with the Microsoft education team and the film's director, Byron Karabatsos. We coupled vibrant design with Flash animation and built a site for educators to discover how to create their own school of the future.
Photosynth
When it came time to debut a cutting-edge photo sharing technology, Microsoft's Live Labs chose Plexipixel to design, develop, and animate their Photosynth website. Want to see point clouds, 3D modeling, and Seadragon zooming in action? Photosynth deserves a visit.
Microsoft Office Online
Plexipixel was responsible for planning and management of the Microsoft Office pre-sale content migration from Microsoft.com to Office Online—coordinating with both marketers as well as the Office Online platform development team. We created the process for maintenance as well as the style-guide for the site. Our web team took care of on-going production and editorial of the Office online product content.
Microsoft Learning
We are responsible for the ongoing production of the Microsoft Learning websites, one of the largest websites on the Microsoft.com network. The Learning sites include both public and private web properties. The current platform is based on Microsoft SharePoint and InfoPath.
