The Curiously Sinister Art of Jim Flora at Fantagraphics Bookstore

Saturday, September 22nd, 2007

Join all our pals at Fantagraphics Bookstore in Georgetown this Saturday for The Curiously Sinister Art of Jim Flora, a rare show by the maniacal 50's era hep cat illustrator. Flora's manic caricatures of jazz legends like Benny Goodman, Louis Armstrong, and Gene Krupa for RCA Victor and Columbia wreaked havoc with the laws of physics.

The opening on Saturday, September 22,2007 features a set by chanteuse Annabella Kirby's new trio the Moon Spinners. So head down to Georgetown between 6 and 8 PM for a swingin' early evening. 1201 S. Vale Street (at Airport Way S.) 206.568.0110. The show runs September 22 - October 24, 2007.
