Strategize

High-Performance Needs: Talk about being in the spotlight! With a wide audience of Designers, Developers, Media BDMs (Business Decision Makers), and ITDMs (Information Technology Decision Makers), we were tasked with a site that looked polished, but also had serious substance. Through tight collaboration between our designers and developers, we nailed down a solid user experience flow for four different audiences, while building our concepts into a smooth, robust, and fluid experience.

Conceptualize

Hands-on Collaboration: Building a website with four different user paths is quite the undertaking. We utilized SketchFlow as an interactive prototype tool to help keep us on track and get us the solid feedback we needed early on in the design process. Keeping track of things also helped control our iteration costs during development. We also made it easy for the user to choose one of four paths through which to navigate the site. That way users could get the tailored information they needed without hassle.

Execute

Hefty Toolbox: A big project with so many integrated parts meant we had to have all the right tools. We juggled multiple technologies behind the scenes, using AJAX, Azure, Silverlight, ASP.NET MVC 2 and more to create an integrated experience. We also developed a custom CMS using Azure to make the entire site updatable and can handle complicated content like videos.

Measure

Easy Follow Through: With so many different users, it might be tricky to keep track of them all. In the background, we made sure to enable deep linking within the widget and added robust tracking throughout the site to help analyze traffic and inform future iterations of the site.

Maintain

Plug-and-Play: Actually, you don't even need the plug-in to play! We built a showcase widget specifically for Silverlight that highlights case studies supporting full HD video and an engaging implementation of Deep Zoom that is housed in a site that still serves up content for those without the plug-in. Both the widget and the main site content can be maintained easily from anywhere via our Azure CMS.
