2007 Children’s Art Supply Donation Drive                                     07/30/07

Plexipixel has just released the My Comix project. My Comix is an interactive comic book creator that is currently being used in several San Francisco area critical care facilities. My Comix gives terminally-ill children and their families a fun, interactive therapy resource that can help them cope with difficult emotions arising from their situations.

To celebrate the release of My Comix, please join us in an art supply drive to benefit the patients of Seattle’s Children’s Hospital. As artists, we understand the power of art and how it can help people deal with difficult times. We hope you will help us provide necessary tools and resources for brave children in our local community.

What we need from you:
  • Any new, unwrapped art supplies - paints, brushes, papers, paste, etc. are all perfect
  • Suggested items: craft kits, water colors, clay and more! Feel free to think outside the box for creative art supply donations.
  • Supplies for the “older” child such as easels, acrylic paints or charcoals - Children’s Hospital cares for children ages zero to 21
  • No need for crayons - the kids get plenty of those!
When to give:
Monday, July 30 through Monday, August 13, 2007

Drop your donation off at our office during the hours of 9:30am and 6:00pm Mon–Fri or mail them to:
